We recommend that Shomer Shabbat friends and family plan to spend Shabbat in Los Angeles.
Recommended that out of town guests who will be staying in Los Angeles and observing Shabbat stay here due to its proximity to kosher markets, restaurants, synagogues, and the Asch household. Please note that, despite the name, this hotel is not located in Beverly Hills and is approximately four blocks away from the Beverly Hills city line.
The distance along the 10 to the 110 is approximately 15 miles, or approximately 30 minutes in light traffic. If you have any difficulty arranging travel from Los Angeles to Highland Park, please get in touch with us, we are happy to help you work something!
If you are not observing Shabbat, we recommend flying or driving into LA or Highland Park/Pasadena on either Saturday or Sunday morning!
Hotel
Please note that there are many hotels within 5 miles of the venue, including a Courtyard Marriott and a Hilton. If you have access to a car and want to stay closer to other attractions or amenities (such as Old Town Pasadena, West LA, WeHo, etc.), We are more than happy to suggest other LA areas for you to stay at.
Airport
We would suggest a flight into either LA (LAX) or Burbank (Bob Hope Airport). You may be able to find more frequent and cheaper flights if you fly into LAX - but be prepared to drive a little further over to Highland Park/Pasadena.
Getting to the Venue
The venue is approximately 24 miles east of LAX via the 110. There is no good public transport from the airport to Highland Park/Pasadena, so please be prepared to either hire an Uber to your hotel/venue or rent a car.
If you need assistance finding transportation from the airport to Highland Park/Pasadea, please let us know, we would be happy to help!
