They started out as a couple of dreamers who moved to Colorado Springs to live out the ultimate career goal - being a part of Team USA. A Cali native, Todd came to Colorado in 2012 as an intern for the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee fresh out of grad school. Unknown to each other at the time, Annemarie held a similar path after completing her master's degree in Nashville and heading to the Rocky Mountains in 2015.

While the two were close in proximity for a number of years, they did not meet until Annemarie returned from her three-year European journey in 2020. By then, Todd had become a master of kickball ruling the city's intramural leagues. He became quite close to a number of friends including one of Annemarie's best friends Bri. With the assistance of Bri and her soon-to-be husband Andy (and Todd's boss at the time), the pair became friends as they spent multiple nights chatting and becoming competitive while cooking for their monthly Iron Chef competitions.

Todd and Annemarie's love did not blossom right away however as it was a slow burn with Todd's shy nature. But as the pair grew to spend more time together, especially with their besties' upcoming nuptials, feelings began to develop. As with any true love story, dancing the night away at a wedding helped their love to bloom. They began dating in 2022 and were engaged in Sept. 2024 in one of the most beautiful sceneries to exist - the waterfalls of Iceland.

Todd and Annemarie, along with their amazing families and sweet pup JoJo, can't wait to celebrate their forever with you this summer.
