ARE YOU REGISTERED ANYWHERE?

We have all our home goods, necessities and more, but if you feel in the spirit of giving, we have a honeymoon fund registry found at https://withjoy.com/annette-and-lopez/registry

What is the wedding day attire?

We’re drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of Old Hollywood: velvet tuxedos, silk gowns, long and structured dresses, polished shoes, and a touch of sparkle. Are you ready to ring in the New Year with us in style? We’re celebrating in true festive fashion, so come dressed in your finest threads, ready to dance the night away! Black tie is encouraged — think tuxedos, gowns, and all things glamorous. At the very least, we ask for formal attire to match the magic of the evening. If a tuxedo isn’t your thing, a dark suit and tie or a formal dress in fabrics (like satin, crepe, or velvet) is also perfect. Let this be your excuse to wear something fabulous. When in doubt, dress like you’re attending a black tie gala in the golden age of Hollywood.

Need more attire inspiration?

We know choosing what to wear can feel overwhelming, so if you’d like a little extra guidance, we’ve put together a Pinterest board with attire inspiration to help you get a feel for the Old Hollywood glam, black tie encouraged vibe of the evening. ✨ Feel free to browse for ideas that help you feel your best and excited to celebrate with us! Is the wedding child friendly?

We love your little ones—and this evening is all about the adults! We’ve planned a fun-filled, high-energy celebration with cocktails, dinner, and dancing, and we hope it feels like a special night out for you. Thank you for joining us in making this an unforgettable, adults-only celebration!

Is the wedding outside?

No, both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors. You can relax and enjoy the celebration without worrying about the weather.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you join us in being fully present by honoring our unplugged ceremony. That means no phones, cameras, or video recording during this special moment. We’ve thoughtfully hired an incredible photo and video team to capture it all—so you can simply relax, take it in, and enjoy the beauty as it unfolds. We promise to share the memories with you afterward!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! We’ll be raising a glass (or two) together all night long—enjoy a full open bar on us as we toast, celebrate, and dance into the New Year!

Can I bring a guest?

We’re keeping our celebration intentionally intimate, and as such, we are only inviting those personally listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding—we truly can’t wait to celebrate this special moment with you!

Is it ok to wear white?

We’d love for our guests to lean into color, sparkle, and festive flair—and kindly leave white (and anything close to it) to the bride. Thank you for helping her stand out on this once-in-a-lifetime day!

When should I RSVP?

The RSVP deadline is November 15th, and we’d be so grateful if you could respond as soon as you’re able. It helps us finalize details with our vendors and make sure everything is just right for the celebration!

What if I can't make it?

We’ll miss you dearly, and we completely understand if you’re unable to attend. If that’s the case, please RSVP “no” as soon as you’re able, so we can plan with care. If you’ve already RSVP’d “yes” but something changes, just let us know—we’ll be so grateful for the update and your thoughtfulness.

What if I didn't RSVP in time?

We really hope to celebrate with you, so please make sure to RSVP by the date listed. If we don’t hear from you in time, we’ll take it as your way of sending love from afar while we finalize our guest count with our vendors. Thanks so much for understanding—we’re so grateful for your support and excitement during this special time!

What time should i arrive?

We kindly ask that you arrive 20 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and finding your seat. We want everyone to be settled in and present before the celebration starts!

Where should i park?

Parking is not permitted on Signal Hill Road. All guests must park in The Arlo’s private parking lot, which you’ll enter through the main gates upon arrival. The lot will be clearly marked and easily accessible. Please note: Overnight parking is not allowed, and any vehicles left overnight will be towed at the owner’s expense. We kindly ask that you plan transportation accordingly. Thank you for helping us keep everything organized and running smoothly!

Where should i stay?

First, thank you so much for making the trip to celebrate with us—it truly means the world! We’ve put together a list of nearby accommodations under the Travel tab, complete with direct links to help make planning easier. You’re absolutely welcome to stay wherever feels right for you—Airbnb or vacation rentals are also a great option if you’re traveling with a group or prefer something more private. We hope our suggestions help simplify your search and make your stay extra comfortable!

What's the weather like this time of year in Austin?

Austin in late December can be unpredictable! Expect mild afternoons and chilly evenings, often in the 40s–60s°F. We recommend bringing a stylish layer or wrap—especially for the evening portion of the celebration.

Is transportation provided?

Transportation will not be provided, so we kindly ask guests to arrange their own transportation to and from the venue. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area, and parking is available inside The Arlo’s private lot (see “Parking” section for more info).

Will there be a reception after the ceremony?

Yes! The ceremony and reception will both be held at The Arlo, allowing for a seamless transition into the evening. After we say “I do,” join us for dinner, drinks, and dancing as we ring in the New Year together!

What is the dress code for other events?

We’ll be sharing attire suggestions for each event on our home page to help guide your outfit choices. Expect everything from festive cocktail attire at the welcome mixer to elevated casual at the farewell brunch. Dress to express—and to celebrate!

Will food be served?

Yes—come hungry and ready to indulge! During cocktail hour, we’ll be serving passed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails to set the tone. A full dinner and dessert bar will follow during the reception. And because we know dancing builds up an appetite, a late-night light snack will be served to keep you fueled for the rest of the evening!

Will there be dancing?

Without a doubt! The dance floor will be open, the music will be flowing, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. If you’d like to bring a pair of flats or dancing shoes, we fully support that—whatever helps you dance the night away in comfort and style!

I have a food allergy - what should I do?

We want everyone to feel cared for! If you have a dietary restriction or allergy, please let us know when you RSVP so we can make sure your meal is perfect.

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Your presence means the world to us, and we’re so grateful to celebrate together! If you feel called to bring a card or gift, we will have both a card box and a gift table set up at the reception for your convenience.

Can I use my phone during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that all phones and cameras stay tucked away during the ceremony. We’ve hired amazing professionals to capture every moment—your only job is to be present and soak it all in!

Can I take home flowers or decor after the wedding?

We’re so touched that you’d want a piece of the day to take home! While the flowers are real and the décor is beautiful, much of it is part of a carefully curated rental design or styled with intention for the full celebration. We kindly ask that no flowers or décor be taken at the end of the evening. Thank you so much for understanding and helping us preserve the details that made this day so special!
