We met in the Hamptons, 4th of July weekend 2015. It wasn't love at first sight per se but it definitely happened within the first 13 minutes.

The first time we attempted to hang out back in the city, Ryan used his dog to get Annette to come over. Annette canceled at the last minute, something about "seeing her mom in Jersey..." Ryan thought she flaked. Annette actually cut her finger and passed out from the sight of her own blood. We've been together ever since.

We share the same affinity for dogs, shoes, Dominos pizza, and tequila sodas with a splash of pineapple. But no seriously, we really like dogs.

Kanye West is our spirit animal.

Our families share caribbean roots: The Miquel's from Cuba, the Kerlew's from Jamaica. Let's just say that family gatherings are fun. And loud. Really loud but fun.

Our friends mean more to us than anything else. Our friends also drive the both of us absolutely insane as well. We love them to death but feel free to give them hell at the wedding. Please.

Apologies to the states of CT (where Ryan is from) and NJ (where Annette is from) but NYC will forever have our hearts.

We're really looking forward to tying the knot and absolutely cannot wait to celebrate our love with everyone on October 7th.
