In September 2021, Annie and Sam met at a local Chicago establishment called Galway Bay. Annie and Sam had both been going there for years with their friends without knowing the other person existed.

Annie and her friend, Laura, were posted up at the bar and after a couple hours, a nice young man came up on the left side of Annie. Memories are slightly blurry but we both recall lots of smiles, bantering and laughing!

After an exchange of numbers, Sam texted Annie a couple days later: "Would you want to see each other again?". And the rest is history :)
