Where to begin...

Our story starts about 10 years ago on the very first day of college at JMU. Annie and Bryan were unpacking in their dorm rooms, not knowing that the other was mere feet away in the same building. They'd cross paths later that first night as their entire dorm attended an orientation event on the football field. They even went on to take a picture that night in front of the iconic Duke Dog Statue!

Fast forward a few months, and Annie and Bryan had starting bumping into each other more and more as they left their rooms for classes and other campus activities. They began seeing each other frequently with their dorm friends and even had a standing study "date" when it came time for finals season. One night, Bryan asked Annie if she was free to get dinner, marking their very first solo hang out - which turned out to last several hours past dinner with the two chatting and laughing into the night!

And so began a whirlwind college romance, with Annie and Bryan spending virtually every moment together between and after classes. They attended sorority and fraternity events together, went on many dates in downtown Harrisonburg, spent most weeknights watching movies and spending time with friends.

Fast forward to graduation, Bryan had a job offer in Orlando, FL and Annie was excited to start her career in the D.C. area, but they both knew the distance was but a small hurdle for them! Annie frequently visited Florida, with many of her friends joking that she had two homes, one in VA and one in Orlando. After a few years (and a global pandemic) of Annie and Bryan having the time of their lives in their respective cities, it was time to close the geographical gap and start anew in Tampa, FL!

Bryan and Annie drove the U-Haul down the east coast and started the next chapter of their lives together in Tampa where they quickly found their dream apartment and adopted their adorable dog.

And now here we are! In March of 2024, Bryan got down on his knee right on the waterfront of Tampa Bay and asked Annie if she would marry him! After coming back from a brief blackout, Annie said yes (or squealed out something like it) and Bryan sealed the deal!

We are so excited to start this next chapter of our lives and we are honored to have each and every one of you here to celebrate with us!
