The Beginning: 2013

Meet Annie. She just left her job as a pharmacy manager after being recruited to start a new career opportunity in a new setting. She is independent, motivated and the world is her oyster. Meet Jerome. He is currently unemployed, and spends all his time watching sports and reality TV. He moves to San Diego for a new start and new beginning. Annie and Jerome end up in the same pharmacist training class at their new jobs. Annie sits directly behind Jerome. Jerome constantly turns around and annoys Annie. Finally, Annie gives in and they become friends.

Blossoming Romance?

Annie invites Jerome to go to his first ever OneRepublic concert with her friends. From then on, Jerome is forever hooked and they go on to attend five more OneRepublic concerts together.

A New Chapter with Distance

Jerome ends up moving to Orange County for a new job opportunity. Although now in different cities, they both remain in contact with one another. They both start spending more time with each other between Orange County and San Diego. Finally. Jerome musters up the courage to ask Annie out.

Bad and Bougie

Annie introduces Jerome to a world of traveling and adventure from the Cherry Blossom festivals in Japan to celebrating Oktoberfest in Germany.

Pandemic

The pandemic begins. Annie and Jerome grow closer while quarantining. During this time, Annie and Jerome spend most of their time taking walks, planning their next adventure and experiment cooking new dishes (in reality, it was mostly Jerome watching Annie cook, but he means well, really).

The Proposal

Ultimately, they plan a trip to Switzerland, where Jerome plans his proposal during their first stop in Zurich. After months of planning, Jerome nervously tells Annie to dress nicely for a night out. After getting ready, they hop on the train and head towards Jerome’s secret proposal location (art museum). Jerome’s palms become sweatier and knees become weaker when he realizes they hopped on the wrong train! They both immediately get off on the next stop. Annie becomes sus and begs Jerome to tell her where they are heading to so she can map the place on her phone. Jerome brushes her off as coy as possible. At last, they arrive at the secret proposal location at a garden area outside an art museum. Only one problem - the grass area looks nothing like the picture from google and is about knee high as if it had not been cut for months. In the distance, Jerome spots his hired photographer ready to capture the moment and locates the proposal spot. Annie, looking visibly concerned, asks Jerome if he is lost and if they are trespassing. Jerome tries to ensure Annie that this is the correct location (at this point, Jerome is pulling poor Annie’s arm and almost yanking her across knee-high grass). Jerome then pauses and gets on one knee, and pulls out a ring box. Annie is so confused at the situation that it takes her a few moments to realize what is happening when she finally looks back down at Jerome. Sweaty Jerome pops the question…and the rest is history. Annie and Jerome are looking forward to a lifetime of more adventures and unforgettable memories together. What time should I arrive for the wedding ceremony? Guests are encouraged to arrive at 4:00pm.The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm.

Is there parking at the venue? Yes, there is plenty of free on-site self-parking available.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors,while the dinner reception will be indoors.

What is the dress code for the wedding? The dress attire is formal.

Are kids invited? This is an adults-only event.
