On a rainy Saturday in January, our mutual friend Leslie organized for a group of friends to get together for an afternoon of ice skating. We both arrived only knowing a few people with our mutual friend unable to attend. Once we had our ice skates on and hit the ice skating rink- we realized that we were both amazing ice skaters. We enjoyed a conversation talking about sports, Dana Point, family and the BACHELOR!

For those that don't know- our first date lasted for 10 hours! Yes that's right- 10 hours!!! We say it was like several first dates in one. The first date took place a week after meeting ice skating. We met down at Dana Point harbor where we explored and even got interviewed for a local television show over lunch at Olamendi's, watched the sunset and ate again. Annie texted her sister that she was going to marry Mark one day.
