Are kids invited?
Regrettably, this is a mostly adults wedding. As we can’t invite all the littles, please go off who the invite is addressed to.
What's the attire?
We kindly ask guests to wear semi-formal attire. The ceremony will be outdoors on grass in Spring Lake, MI—comfortable shoes and a light shawl or wrap are recommended for afternoon breezes.
What if I have food allergies/dietary restrictions?
We’ll do our best to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions. Please list any needs in the RSVP section; the venue can usually make appropriate substitutions. If you have specific concerns or need more details, contact either of us and we’ll help coordinate.
How do I get to the wedding venue?
We will provide a shuttle for your convenience with frequent pick-ups and drop-offs between the hotel and venue throughout the evening. Exact pickup/drop-off times and locations will be posted here closer to the wedding date. If you prefer to drive yourself, there is free parking at the Country Club. Ubers are limited, as it will be Memorial Day weekend in a beach town, so please plan accordingly.
When should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive by 4:00 PM so the shuttle schedule allows everyone to be seated and the ceremony can begin promptly.
Is there parking at the venue if I choose not to use the shuttle?
Yes! There is a large parking lot attached to the venue for guests who wish to drive.
The ceremony is on grass, what if I have a mobility issue?
The ceremony is across the street from the reception venue. Parking attendants will help guests cross safely at the right time, and we’ll have a golf cart available to escort guests with mobility issues to their seat before the ceremony and back to the cocktail space afterward.
Is there a cocktail hour?
Yes! It will be just inside the venue and on their patio out back overlooking the golf course. There will be passed hors d'oeuvres and drinks at the bars inside to enjoy
