What time should I arrive?

Please arrive no later than 5:15pm so you have enough time to find a seat before our 5:30 ceremony start time. If you can't make it to the ceremony but can make the reception, please arrive after 6pm. Those using the shuttle will be picked up from the hotel promptly at 4:30pm.

How will I get to/from the venue?

We will have a shuttle going from the hotel (see 'Travel' section) to our venue prior to the ceremony, departure at 4:30pm. By the end of the night (11:30pm) there will be more shuttles bringing guests back to the hotel.

What are other transportation options?

Aside from the shuttle for hotel guests, you may drive (you can leave your car overnight at the venue if you need to), or take an Uber/Lyft/cab but please note -- we have heard mixed reviews regarding whether Ubers are readily available in the area or not. Please schedule your rides in advance to ensure you will be able to get home safely!

Will there be parking?

Yes, there is a free lot attached. Parking is not valet, but the lot is very close to the entrance.

What is the dress code?

Formal attire/black-tie optional. Men should wear suits, any color. Women do not need to wear floor-length gowns unless they want to.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our venue has a beautiful outdoor space for the ceremony and cocktail hour and we hope to be able to celebrate these events outside. However, if it is raining or uncomfortably hot, we will have the ceremony and cocktail hour indoors, also a gorgeous space! Our reception will be held in the ballroom indoors.

Can I bring a plus-one?

It will be specified on your invitation whether you may bring a guest.

Can I bring my children?

Our wedding will be an adult-only event, besides our little niece and nephew who are in the bridal party. Please organize your childcare ahead of time so you can enjoy a night out!

What type of food will be served?/What if I have allergies or a special diet?

Our cocktail hour will have a wide range of passed hors d'oeuvres plus several additional stations with various types of cuisine. Please look around and take it all in; we don't want you to miss any signature stations! Dinner will be served at the reception and will include salad and your choice between 3 different entrees plus a vegetarian option. Dessert will be served at the end of the night along with a surprise exit station :) There will be a space on your RSVP which specifies dietary restrictions, or you may reach out to the bride/groom if you have specific concerns.

Is there an after-party?

Yes! The after-party will be at our hotel bar at the Holiday Inn Budd Lake. An open bar will not be provided at this point so please bring cash or card here if you wish to get more drinks.

Will there be an organized breakfast the next day?

The Holiday Inn hotel we are staying at has a cafe that we will likely be lounging in the next morning, eating à la carte. You are welcome to stop by and enjoy a bite, pending table availability. However you are not obligated to join if you wish to start your journey home!

Can I take photos at the wedding?

We would love for everyone to be fully present during the ceremony and leave the photo-taking responsibilities to the professionals. Please do not take photos once the ceremony starts. After the ceremony, you are welcome to take as many photos as you'd like!
