In the same social circles, Annie caught Robs eye at JMU, but it wouldn’t be until two years later at Homecoming that they would strike up a relationship. Annie made the first move that weekend and soon, the two found each other taking trips across the Eastern Seaboard (okay just Boston to DC) to see each other. They went on to travel together, bonded over their shared love of cats and got each other hooked on their favorite TV franchises (Annie’s being the Real Housewives and Rob’s being Game of Thrones reruns…over and over). Realizing that the distance was too much, and that Ziggy was missing her adoptive father, Annie and Rob moved into their first home in Georgetown, where they proceeded to build a life together that included two new cats, new friends, mostly good times and some sad ones. Robert fittingly proposed in Georgetown five years later, and for Annie, “yes” was a no brainer (mainly because she had already booked the wedding venue in Spring lake). Jokes aside, Rob and Annie can’t wait to celebrate with their favorite people next October in Annie’s hometown, a place special to them both.
