Our Wedding

We met in March of 2018 when Annie went on a mission trip to Brazil.

In March of 2019 we were reunited in Brazil and started dating soon after in May.

We spent 2 years without seeing each other in person.

We were finally able to see each other again in Cancun Mexico July of 2021 (Accompanied by Yvonne Warner, Annie's mom😘).

In May of 2022 we traveled to Costa Rica accompanied by family and friends ♡ After this trip, we decided to begin Washington's visa process.

In December of 2022, Annie along with her parents traveled to Brazil where we got engaged!

Since visa paperwork was taking longer than we expected... We planned another trip. In August of 2023, we got to see each other again in Aruba accompanied by family ♡

After Aruba, we traveled to Brazil together where we got to be together for almost two amazing months serving on the A.M.O. Ministry property where Washington has lived since 2016.

We are overwhelmingly thankful for all of the adventures that God made a way for us to take to be together and for the love and support shown throughout the years by friends and family. We are now patiently waiting for Washington's visa, and Lord willing, he will be in the US by the end of December!

Registry

The groom's tie is somewhat significant in Brazilian wedding traditions as they cut it into little pieces and then auction off each piece to male guests. The funds gathered can be used for whatever the new couple wants, oftentimes to contribute to their honeymoon. The tie cutting will take place after the wedding ceremony and will be officiated by the groomsmen during the reception. If you would like, come ready to participate!
