Our Wedding

Our story begins on a lively karaoke night in 2019 at a small English pub, in a little unknown city in America. George, was immediately drawn to Annie’s spark—but nerves got the best of him. Instead of asking Annie for her number, he waited until she left and (with a little help from fate and her older sister) got her number anyway. What came next felt like something out of a movie — a love story full of heart, hope, and a few plot twists. When George moved back to England, their relationship turned long-distance. For three years, they navigated life an ocean apart, cherishing every visit and holding on to the dream of one day being together for good. That turned into reality on a snowy February day in 2024. On a quiet hill overlooking Milwaukee’s lakefront, George got down on one knee and asked Annie to marry him. She said yes, and just a few months later, he moved back to the U.S. for good. In November 2024, surrounded by close family and friends, they shared vows in a beautiful and intimate ceremony. Now, after years of long distance and waiting to start their lives together, George and Annie are beyond excited to celebrate with everyone they love in May 2026. They can’t wait to toast to their journey, their love and the people most important to them (YOU!).

What are the meal options at the reception? 

-Grilled Beef TenderloinServed with mashed potatoes, periguex sauce, asparagus, grilled carrots and citrus Bagna cauda -Slow Roasted Miso SalmonServed with Cilantro Basmati Rice, Charred Broccolini, Herb Relish, Dill Cucumber Salad -Gnocchi and Grilled VegetablesZucchini, carrots, caramelized onions, herbs, parmesan, crispy chickpeas, grilled artichoke, vegetable broth

What is the Dress code? 

For the wedding ceremony and reception- formal attire is preferred. To help you plan, all events will take place indoors. For the welcome party- no specific dress code is required

Is there parking at the Church and the reception? 

There is a parking structure at the Pfister located off Mason Street. Overnight parking at the Pfister is $30 per vehicle. If you park there just for the duration of the reception, it is $20. There is not a parking lot at Old St. Mary's Church, however it is about an 8min walk from the Pfister (0.3 miles). There is also street parking available surrounding the church.
