Our Wedding

From the day we were born it seems like the universe has been pushing us together. We were both born on January 9th in the same year. We both grew up in Huntersville, North Carolina. For most of our lives, we have lived within 1 mile of each other, but somehow our paths never crossed. It wasn't until our freshman year at NC State University that we were finally introduced! It only took a few months after that for us to begin dating. We dated for the rest of our time in college, growing as individuals and as a couple, learning from one other and trying new things together. During the end of our time in college the world was turned upside down by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was then that we truly learned how to be a team when everything else in life falls apart. Matthew proposed on August 13, 2022 at a very special spot in Umstead State Park, where we had our very first picnic together years ago. We will celebrate our 7 year dating anniversary on October 25, 2023, and then will have a new anniversary a few days later! We cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with all of you!
