SHUTTLE BUS

For your convenience, shuttle buses to the wedding venue will be provided from a central island location and bring people to the venue in Chilmark. SHUTTLE BUS DEPARTURE TIMES &amp; LOCATION: PICK UP-Buses will&nbsp;pick-up at&nbsp;Martha's Vineyard Regional High School parking lot, near the football field entrance.&nbsp;(We recommend taking a taxi or getting dropped off at the high school lot.)The first bus will leave at 2:00 PM. The second bus&nbsp;will leave at 2:15 PM (this will have everyone arriving at the wedding venue by 2:30/2:40ish)&nbsp; AFTER THE WEDDING -Both&nbsp;buses will&nbsp;leave the wedding venue around 10:30.&nbsp;One bus will return to&nbsp;the high school&nbsp;parking lot, AND then make a stop in downtown OB on Circuit Ave.&nbsp;The second bus will bring people to Vineyard Haven/Tisbury Main St.

PARKING AT THE VENUE 

If you'd like to drive to-and-from the wedding venue, you may park your car at the Lucy Vincent beach parking lot (off South Road, at the end of Lucy Vincent Beach Road.) The parking lot is a short walk to the venue, but we will also have golf carts that can bring you from the parking lot up the road. TAXI's & UBER

If you take a Taxi or get dropped off at the wedding, please get out near the Lucy Vincent beach parking lot to avoid crowding the driveway of the house where the wedding will be held. The weekend of the wedding, there might be Ubers/Lyfts available, but riding sharing services are limited on the vineyard, especially in October. You can try, but Uber/Lyft might not be reliable.Below are a few vineyard taxi companies. Wedding Transportation

Attire is semi-formal

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on the lawn, so we recommend wearing shoes that will hold up in the grass&nbsp;(ladies - would recommend flats, sandals, or a thicker heel.) For the reception, we will have a tent (with heaters if needed), but please consider it will be October and most of the wedding will be outside, so perhaps bring something warm if you'd like! Men can wear suits and ties. Feel free to dress in any color you'd like - bright colors welcome!The wedding party will be wearing black.

GETTING TO MARTHA'S VINEYARD 

The Island of Martha’s Vineyard can be reached by sea or by air; there are no land routes, bridges or tunnels connecting it to the mainland. FLYING:The closest mainland airports to Martha's Vineyard are Logan airport in Boston, or TF Green Airport in Providence. From there, you'll need to travel by car or bus to Woods Hole to catch the ferry boat to the island. Peter Pan Bus provides service to the ferry terminal in Woods Hole from TF Green Airport in Providence RI, Boston Logan Airport,&nbsp;Boston South Station and other locations.&nbsp;<a href="http://peterpanbus.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">http://peterpanbus.com</a> Several airlines fly directly to the island, into MVY Airport. This is a good option if you don't want to drive or take the boat. THE BOAT:The Steamship Authority provides ferry service between Woods Hole and Martha's Vineyard several times a day and offers the most direct travel for both passengers and automobiles. The boat comes into two different towns on the island depending on the schedule: Oak Bluffs, and Vineyard Haven. Be sure to check which town you are arriving in! Advanced reservations are needed to bring cars over to the island on the boat, but walk-on passengers never need a reservation.<a href="https://www.steamshipauthority.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.steamshipauthority.com/</a> TRAVEL TIPS: We recommend planing travel for Thursday (10/14), or early Friday morning (10/15.) Make sure to plan enough time to get from the airport to the boat - if you're flying into Boston or Providence you'll want to make sure you have a few hours. If you're arriving on Friday, be sure to try and catch the 5:00pm or 6:15pm boat at the latest to make it to our Welcome Drinks event on Friday night! It's best to arrive at the boat 30 minutes before its departure time. The last boat to the island each day is 9:45pm, if you miss the last boat you'll need to wait until morning to get over to the island! Boats can also be canceled due to weather, be sure to check the Steamship Authority website the day of travel for up-to-date schedules. To get from town to town on the island you'll need to drive or take an Uber or Taxi. You can bring your own car over to the island by making reservations with The Steamship Authority ferry boat.(We will be providing transportation and parking options for the wedding - check back for more transportation details soon!)

When it comes to COVID-19, please take any precautionary measures that make you feel comfortable.
