The wedding will take place in Hermitage, Pennylvania. Hermitage is located in western PA and is roughly an hour away from Pittsburgh, which is the city you will be flying into if you're a guest from out of town.
What day should I fly in/arrive?
This is kind of up to you and also depends on your relationship to the bride and groom. The wedding is taking place on a Sunday. We will definitely be organizing a get-together for everyone from out of town before the wedding day as well. This will probably take place on Friday or Saturday (tbd). Feel free to reach out to us (Sebas or Annika) if you have questions about this.
What about accommodations?
To our friends from out of town who are either students, young and broke, recently married or all of the above (you get the gist): We are working on providing cost-free sleeping arrangements for you. We will be in contact with you individually and personally to further inform you about this. To everyone who can afford and prefers staying at a hotel or airbnb, we have several options listed for you in the Travel section. You can of course also do your own research and look for convenient options. If you need help, advice or further recommendations regarding this, please feel free to reach out to us, we would love to help you get things figured out.
What about transportation?
We are currently still working on this issue. We will have people arriving to the airport on different days and at different times. We will make sure that anyone who needs picked up from the airport will have a ride, so don't worry about that. Similarly to the accommodation subject, we of course don't expect everyone to rent a car. We will have several cars available to pick people up for events, etc. However be mindful that when renting a car you will be way more flexbile and less dependent on others. As Hermitage is located in a more rural area, there is no public transportation available. As the wedding approaches we will have a more concrete plan and idea of the transportation situation and will keep you informed!
