For those planning an extended trip to Massachusetts, we suggest booking lodging near the venue for the wedding and considering a second hotel closer to the city for the remainder of your visit. There is much more to do and see in Boston and we hope you can explore the city during your stay.



There are also several Airbnb and Vrbo options in the area! We recommend staying within these towns: Cohasset, Scituate, Hull, Marshfield, and Norwell.

Boston Logan International Airport is the closest airport to the venue, about 30 miles away.

Driving/Uber/Lyft Options

If you are driving to Cohasset from Boston, the ride is approximately 50 minutes.

If you are driving to Rockland from Boston, the ride is approximately 45 minutes.

Train Options

For guests staying in Cohasset, Scituate, or Hull, there is an MBTA Commuter Rail train that leaves from South Station in Downtown Boston and makes the following stops: Nantasket Junction, Cohasset, North Scituate. This is the Outbound Greenbush Line. Tickets can be purchased at the station or after boarding the train. The Cohasset station is 2 miles from the Red Lion Inn, about a 5-minute drive.

For guests staying in Rockland, there is an MBTA Commuter Rail train that leaves from South Station in Downtown Boston and stops in South Weymouth. This is the Outbound Kingston Line. Tickets can be purchased at the station or after boarding the train. The South Weymouth station is 3.5 miles from DoubleTree/Best Western, about a 7-minute drive.

If you need to get from Boston Logan Airport to South Station for train or bus transportation, take the SL1 (Silver Line) bus. The SL1 picks up at every terminal and drops off at South Station. This bus is free of charge.

For those already in the Boston area needing to get to South Station, the MBTA Red Line train stops at South Station.

Bus Options

For those staying in or near Rockland, the Plymouth & Brockton Bus has a Boston/Logan Airport to Hyannis/South Shore Bus Line. This bus departs from Logan Airport AND South Station. Take the bus to Rockland Park Ride & Stop. From the stop, you can take an Uber/Lyft to your accommodations. The Rockland stop is approximately 0.5 miles from the DoubleTree/Best Western hotels.

Tickets can be purchased online and are not time/direction specific. Please see the website for information regarding specific pick up locations.

Ferry Options

For those with travel flexibility, there is the MBTA Ferry from Boston/Logan Airport with stops in Hingham and Hull. This is the Outbound Hingham/Hull Ferry.

From Downtown Boston, go to Long Wharf OR Rowe's Wharf Station and take the Hingham/Hull Ferry to Hingham and Uber to your accommodation. If you are staying at the Nantasket Beach Resort, take the ferry to the Hull Ferry Station.

From Logan Airport, go to the Arrivals level and follow signage for Ground Transportation. Follow signage for On-Airport Transportation and take Route 66 to the Water Transportation Dock. Take the Hingham/Hull Ferry to Hingham and Uber to your accommodation. If you are staying at the Nantasket Beach Resort, take the ferry to the Hull Ferry Station.

Note: There are limited departure times for the Ferry, but for those interested, more information can be found on the MBTA website.

*** As a reminder, while Uber and Lyft are both available, they can be limited in Cohasset, Hull, Scituate, and Rockland. Please keep this in mind as you are coordinating your travel. We would recommend scheduling your ride ahead of time to ensure transportation is available when you need it. ***
