To ensure that all of our guests can fully enjoy the ceremony and reception, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. We kindly ask that you arrange for a babysitter so you can relax and enjoy the evening with us. Thank you for your understanding.

Please note that parking is limited at both the ceremony and reception venues. To make things easier for everyone, we highly encourage guests to carpool or take an Uber/Lyft to the event. This will help ensure there’s enough parking for everyone and will make your arrival and departure stress-free!

The dress code for the evening is black tie. Men should be dressed in tuxedos or formal dark suits. Women should be dressed in floor-length gowns or formal evening dresses. We can’t wait to see you all dressed to impress and celebrating in style with us!

The ceremony will start at 6:00. We kindly ask guests to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to find parking and get seated.

If your invitation includes a “plus one,” we’d be happy to have your guest join us! Please make sure they are listed on the RSVP so we can ensure proper seating arrangements.

Yes, we have several rooms blocked off for guest at the Francis Marion Hotel. From the Francis Marion Hotel, it is only a 5 minute walk to the William Aiken House. This hotel also has a parking garage across the street from the venue.

The ceremony will take place inside of the Summerall Chapel. The cocktail hour will take place in the ballrooms and gardens at William Aiken House. The reception will take place in the gardens at William Aiken House.
