What is Bear Lake Reserve and Castle Ladyhawke?

Bear Lake Reserve is a mountain lake resort community that partners with Castle Ladyhawke, a popular event and wedding venue located just a few miles away. The bride and groom will be staying at Bear Lake Reserve. The wedding ceremony and reception will be taking place at Castle Ladyhawke.

What dates will the Bride and Groom be at Bear Lake Reserve?

The bride and groom will be staying at Bear Lake Reserve from Thursday, May 30th through Monday, June 3rd. They encourage guests to utilize the resort for as long or short of a stay as they would like. There are plenty of activities on site to enjoy throughout the long weekend. Please refer to the "Things to Do" section of the website for more details.

Will transportation be provided?

A shuttle service after the wedding reception will be available for any guests staying within Bear Lake Reserve. There will not be transportation provided for other activities and events throughout the weekend. All activities are located within the community and are just a short drive away from any rental cabin.

Will parking be available at the wedding venue?

Yes! Castle Ladyhawke will have valet service available for guests. Please note that a shuttle service will be available for guests staying within Bear Lake Reserve following the reception. Guests are welcome to leave their vehicles overnight.

What accommodations are available?

The bride and groom encourage guests to stay within Bear Lake Reserve to have easy access to all activities throughout the weekend and to use the Bear Lake shuttle service following the reception. Please visit the "Travel" tab to learn more.

What vehicles are suitable for the road conditions?

All roads that lead to the resort, as well as the roads within the resort are paved. Although some of the neighborhood roads are narrow and steep, there is no concern for winter weather and any car will work!

Is Bear Lake Reserve pet friendly?

Yes! There are many cabins to choose from that are pet friendly. You will see dogs out and about with their owners as well as on hiking trails. Please refer to the Bear Lake Reserve website to learn more about pet friendly accommodations and activities.

Is there a gift registry?

The bride and groom are very excited to have you join them for their special day, and your presence is truly enough. However, if you feel obligated to give a gift, they please ask that you either contribute to their honeymoon fund or help them fundraise for one of the charitable organizations that they feel passionate about! What attire is appropriate for the weekend?

For the optional Welcome Party casual attire is recommended as there is no dress code. The bride and groom kindly ask that guests wear formal attire for the wedding day.

Do I have to wear a specific color?

The bride and groom kindly ask that guests wear muted colors or neutrals for the wedding day. Black is also welcome.
