We started off as college buddies, you know, just two kids navigating the craziness of university life. We were part of this tight-knit friend group, always hanging out and sharing laughs. The funny thing was, we both lived on the same street, so it felt like fate. If I wasn't giving my buddy a ride to class, it was her hopping on the back of my bike in the morning. We were the kind of students who sat in the back, always up to some mischief.

In college, we had our pals, Stephen and Irene, and the four of us were inseparable. We practically grew up together, and our families became like extended families to us. So, we settled for virtual hangouts. Another year slipped by and then came the day we decided to make that India trip a reality. Sadly, only three of us could make it, but boy, did we make the most of it! Me and her? We just clicked. Our hearts opened up, and we got closer than ever before. We thought maybe it was just a momentary thing, but the more we talked, the closer we got.

Even when we went back to our separate lives, we couldn't stop talking. It was like we were addicted to each other's voices. After a few months of late-night chats and the cheesiest jokes, I spilled the beans about my feelings. And guess what? She felt the same way! We even joked that we were like Monica and Chandler from FRIENDS.

Trips to Dubai and Chicago sealed the deal for us. We told our families that this was for real, that we were head over heels for each other.
