Our story is best described as something written from a fairytale. Only, this one isn’t fictional. As kids, we grew up as next door neighbors playing baseball in my grandparents backyard, aka “The Sand Lot”. At the time we were unfamiliar to one another, but it didn’t take long for us to find our way to each other’s heart. We officially met on a rainy night in June. On this night we were fortunate enough to witness the most breathtaking thunderstorm we both had ever experienced. In that moment, it felt as if we knew each other in a past life and were reunited once again by the light in the sky. We shared our first date immediately after, finding ourselves once more in the center of a beautiful thunderstorm. We have spent every moment since then together and for each thunderstorm we come across, it is a gentle reminder from God that our love is heaven sent. We are fortunate to have found each other, for it is not often you meet your life partner so young. Though our marriage symbolizes our devotion to one another, it is the strength of our friendship that binds our souls eternally.
