Our journey started the casual way, Velma forgetting sugar at one of Anthonys best friends house. What was just a little house party with local Stockdalians, with games, BBQ, and a pool in back, would be the location of our first "real" time meeting each other. But it was nothing out of the ordinary, just people hanging out, Velma casual making fun of me for wearing boots inside, Me explaining that boots were normal and explaining that with like 8 other guys wearing boots, you know, the normal conversations that happens at parties!

But our story truly began, was over Twitter. This is a here I knew I had Velma as a friend already (because she literally liked EVERY SINGLE POST EVER POSTED!) I messaged Velma at some point in the dead of the night, telling her she forgot her sugar at my friend's house. Man, I tell you, it must've been a ploy, that's how she reeled me in! I was just being a civil human being, returning a family's sugar, but instead I became someones sugar!

As time went on, more conversations and calls had been made. We eventually would start hanging out, going on movie dates, and catching dinner at what new hot taco spot opened up that week! Anthony always knew this was leading up to something, he just didn't know exactly what t at the time, and neither did Velma.

Fast forward a few years of dating, Anthony finally decided this story was ready for its next chapter in life. Velma and Anthony had never been on true vacation throughout this long adventure they thought they were on, but that's when Anthony capitalized on the moment. Working on what just seemed like a normal vacation, Velma had no idea Anthony was planning something that would change both of their lives forever.

Colorado Springs, this was our choice, this was our vacation, this is where we decided to take the next steps of our Journey as one. This is where our happiest moment is held... for now.
