How It All BeganIt all started back in 2009 at Our Lady of Grace — I was in 6th grade, Anthony was in 7th, and… we hated each other (lol). But somehow, we were always in the same friend group, hanging out at Pizza Park on Wednesdays after school and pretending the other didn’t exist. We’d argue constantly, roll our eyes at each other, he even full-on threw me in a huge pile of snow once. From Enemies to Best FriendsFast forward to my 8th grade year and Ant’s first year of high school — we started spending more time together and actually went from enemies to best friends pretty quickly… and then came Valentine's Day 2012. We had our first kiss (in front of Deals on 86th Street — very classy, I know) and made it official in June. We've been together ever since — this summer marks 13 years! Growing Up TogetherWe’ve basically grown up side by side — through every high and low, family losses, birthdays, holidays, vacations, random nights after school and work, and every little moment in between. We’ve made some amazing memories traveling together to Florida, Aruba, Sicily, Caribbean cruises , and spontaneous weekend getaways to AC and LI. Whether we’re on a beach somewhere, out to dinner, at a party, or just hanging out at home on the couch, we’re always the happiest when we’re together. The Proposal SurpriseThen came June 28, 2023 — the day Anthony pulled off the best surprise. He had one of my best friends, Juliette, set up a fake “photo and lunch day” at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. She told me we were going to take cute pictures and try a new restaurant there. By the time we got to the rose arch, I was over the pictures (believe it or not) and just wanted to eat already — typical me. That’s when Ant popped out, scared me half to death (literally asked him "what's wrong?!"), and got down on one knee. In between me hysterically crying, I said YES! Wedding Planning &amp; What’s NextWe booked our dream venue, Russo’s On The Bay, the next month and have been living in full-on wedding mode ever since — going to our friends’ &amp; family's weddings, becoming Godparents, planning every detail for our own wedding, and celebrating every moment like only we know how.We can’t wait to finally say “I do” surrounded by all of our favorite people. After 13 years of love, laughs, and lots of celebrations — it's finally our turn and the beginning of our next chapter. ❤️
