We met our freshmen year in college, but our love story truly began in 1970 when Michelle's uncle and Anthony's dad met on the bus on their way to their first day of kindergarten. As it turns out, they lived on the same road! Their families soon became close friends. That friendship remains to this day!

Judi (Michelle's grandma) and Linda (Anthony's nana) may have even hoped that someday there would be a marriage uniting the two families. Unfortunately our first meeting did not spark a romance as they might have wished. But as is so often the case, God's timing is not our own.

Fast forward to December 2019 when Michelle and Grandma Judi went on a trip to Israel led by Anthony's dad. After the trip, Michelle decided to check Facebook to see what Anthony was up to. To her absolute horror, she discovered that Anthony had pet snakes. Our romance would have to wait.

Finally, in early 2024 we matched on a dating app. Although it seemed totally random, we now see it was no coincidence. After exchanging a few messages, we met in person for coffee one sunny Sunday afternoon. Soon after we decided to start dating.

Now, a year later as we plan our wedding, we are so thankful for God's timing to bring us together in this chapter of our lives. We look forward to the many pages of our story yet to unfold!
