Our Wedding

After&nbsp;having&nbsp;given&nbsp;up&nbsp;on&nbsp;meeting&nbsp;a&nbsp;guy&nbsp;the&nbsp;"traditional"&nbsp;way,&nbsp;I&nbsp;signed&nbsp;up&nbsp;for&nbsp;Tinder.&nbsp;Anthony&nbsp;was&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;few&nbsp;people&nbsp;to&nbsp;message&nbsp;me,&nbsp;and&nbsp;right&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;start&nbsp;we&nbsp;hit&nbsp;it&nbsp;off&nbsp;like&nbsp;I&nbsp;never&nbsp;had&nbsp;before.&nbsp;Pretty&nbsp;sure&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;sending&nbsp;30&nbsp;messages&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;day&nbsp;back&nbsp;and&nbsp;forth&nbsp;(and&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;talking&nbsp;essays&nbsp;lol).&nbsp;I&nbsp;learned&nbsp;all&nbsp;about&nbsp;him&nbsp;in&nbsp;those&nbsp;first&nbsp;few&nbsp;weeks.&nbsp;So&nbsp;much&nbsp;so&nbsp;that&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;already&nbsp;begun&nbsp;to&nbsp;like&nbsp;the&nbsp;man&nbsp;behind&nbsp;the&nbsp;phone&nbsp;even&nbsp;if&nbsp;I&nbsp;hadn't&nbsp;seen&nbsp;him&nbsp;in&nbsp;person&nbsp;yet.&nbsp;Anthony&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;and&nbsp;only&nbsp;person&nbsp;i&nbsp;ever&nbsp;met&nbsp;from&nbsp;Tinder.&nbsp;And&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;last&nbsp;person&nbsp;I&nbsp;ever&nbsp;talked&nbsp;to&nbsp;on&nbsp;that&nbsp;app.&nbsp;I&nbsp;knew&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;found&nbsp;a&nbsp;great&nbsp;one&nbsp;on&nbsp;week&nbsp;1.&nbsp;Our&nbsp;first&nbsp;date&nbsp;was&nbsp;supposed&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;dinner&nbsp;and&nbsp;games&nbsp;at&nbsp;dave&nbsp;and&nbsp;busters&nbsp;but&nbsp;it&nbsp;evolved&nbsp;and&nbsp;lasted&nbsp;until&nbsp;about&nbsp;3&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;morning,&nbsp;because&nbsp;we&nbsp;both&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;want&nbsp;it&nbsp;to&nbsp;end.&nbsp;I&nbsp;went&nbsp;to&nbsp;work&nbsp;the&nbsp;next&nbsp;morning&nbsp;dead,&nbsp;but&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;huge&nbsp;smile&nbsp;on&nbsp;my&nbsp;face&nbsp;and&nbsp;butterflies&nbsp;in&nbsp;my&nbsp;stomach.&nbsp;It's&nbsp;been&nbsp;quite&nbsp;a&nbsp;journey&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;both&nbsp;of&nbsp;us&nbsp;since&nbsp;then.&nbsp;We've&nbsp;had&nbsp;our&nbsp;ups&nbsp;and&nbsp;downs,&nbsp;our&nbsp;happy&nbsp;moments&nbsp;and&nbsp;our&nbsp;sad&nbsp;ones,&nbsp;but&nbsp;over&nbsp;all&nbsp;our&nbsp;journey&nbsp;together&nbsp;has&nbsp;been&nbsp;the&nbsp;best&nbsp;one&nbsp;I've&nbsp;ever&nbsp;taken.&nbsp;We&nbsp;have&nbsp;so&nbsp;much&nbsp;love&nbsp;for&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;and&nbsp;make&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;stronger&nbsp;and&nbsp;better.&nbsp;This&nbsp;year,&nbsp;not&nbsp;only&nbsp;will&nbsp;we&nbsp;be&nbsp;celebrating&nbsp;our&nbsp;commitment&nbsp;to&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;rest&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;lives&nbsp;but&nbsp;also&nbsp;welcoming&nbsp;our&nbsp;future&nbsp;child&nbsp;into&nbsp;this&nbsp;world,&nbsp;buy&nbsp;some&nbsp;dirt,&nbsp;and&nbsp;put&nbsp;down&nbsp;or&nbsp;roots.&nbsp;Our&nbsp;journey&nbsp;may&nbsp;have&nbsp;started&nbsp;5&nbsp;years&nbsp;ago,&nbsp;but&nbsp;it&nbsp;also&nbsp;feels&nbsp;as&nbsp;if&nbsp;it's&nbsp;only&nbsp;just&nbsp;begun.&nbsp;And&nbsp;i&nbsp;can't&nbsp;wait&nbsp;for&nbsp;every&nbsp;second&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;future&nbsp;together,&nbsp;i&nbsp;can't&nbsp;believe&nbsp;i&nbsp;get&nbsp;to&nbsp;marry&nbsp;this&nbsp;man&nbsp;and&nbsp;watch&nbsp;him&nbsp;be&nbsp;a&nbsp;father.&nbsp;I&nbsp;know&nbsp;in&nbsp;my&nbsp;bones&nbsp;this&nbsp;is&nbsp;only&nbsp;the&nbsp;beginning&nbsp;of&nbsp;so&nbsp;many&nbsp;more&nbsp;amazing&nbsp;things&nbsp;to&nbsp;come!&nbsp;❤️

We have set up a room block at the Cobblestone Inn &amp; Suites (11 minutes from the venue) for guests wanting to make a reservation from Friday 9/13/2024 to Sunday 9/15/2024. The rate is $130 plus tax per night. You must book a minimum of 2 nights to get this discounted rate. Important Facts: 
 
Guests must book both nights in order to receive the group block rate. If guests would only like to stay one night they will have to book outside of the block.
 
All reservations must be booked directly with the hotel prior to 8/13/2024 to be eligible for the rate of $130/night from 9/13/2024-9/15/2024 (plus tax).
 
All reservations made after those dates will be subject to the best available rate and availability.
 
All reservations require a 7-day notice of cancellation.
 
Rooms will be listed under Torres Dougherty Wedding.
 
Check in is guaranteed any time after 3:00 PM on the date of arrival.
 
Room numbers, locations and other special requests will be noted but cannot be guaranteed.
 
This facility is 100% Smoke Free.

The closest airport to the venue/hotel is Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. This is a small airport and may take you connecting flights to get there. 
 
If traveling out of New Jersey EWR you can also get a direct flight (no stops) to Minnesota MSP&nbsp; airport and then drive roughly 1 hr and 45 mins to the venue/hotel. 
 
Important Note:
 
Cell Service and GPS service becomes very spotty closer to the venue location, our suggestion is you make sure to print out driving instructions as a back up in case you lose signal.
