Denver International Airport (DIA)
If you plan to explore Denver or anywhere in CO, we suggest you rent a car for the weekend for easy accessibility to get around & visit amazing places you want to check out in the mountains (HIGHLY recommend!)
Uber is also a very fine option from the airport into Denver but just know that the closer you get towards the mountains, the less accessible & prevalent ubers will be!
The day of the actual wedding (Friday, Sept 12th), we will be providing transportation from our two hotel blocks (reference the accommodations page for specific locations). If you’re staying at an air bnb or other accommodations not directly located at one of the pick up destinations you will need to get to one of the pick up locations to be transported to the venue. You will have transportation back to the original pick up spot after the wedding!
For simplicity, we recommend staying in either hotel blocks we've reserved - this is where transportation will pick up & drop off and where the after party will be located.
Otherwise, if you'd prefer Air BnB's, we suggest you stay somewhere in Golden or Lakewood. Idaho Springs & Evergreen are also great places to stay for scenery & being in the mountains but will be more challenging as far as transportation to & from venue / after party.
*You can find accommodation suggestions outside of our hotel blocks in the travel section of our website!
Altitude is certainly something we'd recommend you account for when traveling to Colorado. Here are some articles if you want more info on what to expect & how to prepare!

You will be TOTALLY FINE, but we just want to make you're aware & be as preventative as possible :) We will have an “oxygen” station at the wedding to make sure you have the best possible time!! (Liquid IV’s, Oxygen cans, WATER, etc)
September is a BEAUTIFUL time of year in CO, one of our favorites! Expect 80s temperatures during the day & cooler temperatures in the 50s at night (the closer you are to the mountains, the colder temperature will be) We are at a higher altitude & therefore, closer to the sun!! SO PACK SUNSCREEN! The sun is strong & out often this time of year! We always like to tell people to bring layers because the weather can quickly change!
Since we are SO incredibly grateful that you are taking the time off, funds & energy to visit Colorado to celebrate such a special day with us, we will be hosting a Welcome Party the day before the wedding, Thursday, September 11th - address below:
950 Evergreen Parkway, Evergreen, CO 80439
Think taco truck, drinks, music & meeting all the other cool people who will be together to celebrate <3
Transportation will be provided to & from the Welcome Party from the Sheraton Hotel. There is no parking available, do not drive.
The Welcome Party is TOTALLY optional but we hope you can make it!!
The after party will be located at the hotel bar at the Sheraton Denver West Hotel in Lakewood (this is where one of the hotel blocks are located & a pick up / drop off spot for transportation)
Specific to the day of the wedding & the venue, there are designated areas where you can smoke on the grounds of the venue but PLEASE, we ask you be cautious & cognizant of where you are smoking, dump your ashes & dispose of whatever you're smoking.
The venue is in the forrest & mountains. Colorado is very dry & prone to forest fires during this season so we ask you please be aware of this risk (we don’t want to be the cause of burning down a very beautiful wedding venue HA)
If you like weed, GOOD NEWS, it’s legal here! We encourage you to have a blast while you’re here if thats you’re thing, we totally support that….. BUT, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO SMOKE MARIJUANA AT THE WEDDING VENUE
This is a BIGGG NO & we will be fined for each occurrence (which YOU will pay for) if any of our guests are caught. If you absolutely need to please consider munching on a edible.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
