We first crossed paths in high school, but it wasn’t until years later that we truly connected. Our story began to unfold during a birthday celebration on the beach in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Though we’d shared a brief moment years earlier, this time was different—our connection was immediate and undeniable. A few days later, we had our first date at Capital Grill, seated on the sidewalk for outdoor dining. Afterward, we took a stroll through Dumbo, talking and laughing as if we had known each other for years. From that day forward, we were inseparable. Our relationship blossomed over the next few years, and in March of 2023, we took the big step of moving in together. Then, on June 14, 2024, AJ proposed, bringing us full circle back to where it all began—on the beach, a place that holds so many special memories for us. As we prepare to start our life together, we are thrilled to share that our journey now includes a new family member—our cavapoo puppy, Emma! AJ surprised me with her as a birthday gift, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her along with us as we build our future together. We are so grateful for the love, support, and joy that surrounds us as we begin this next chapter, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.
