What should I wear?

Our wedding dress code is formal attire. A floor-length dress is a great option, as is a pantsuit! Please be aware that the outdoor deck at our reception has large enough gaps for a stiletto to slip through. For men, a suit & tie is perfect. Our wedding party will be wearing green gowns and black tuxedos.

Are kids invited?

For our special day, we have decided to keep our wedding adults-only so that everyone can fully relax and enjoy the evening with us. We hope you'll take this as a chance for a special date night!

Can I bring a guest?

Due to capacity restrictions at our reception venue, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation, as well as when you RSVP on the website.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

No, we will have an unplugged ceremony. We request that you keep your phone off and away during this time, as we have teamed up with an excellent photography team to ensure our day is captured perfectly! We would much rather see your smiling faces than phone cameras when we look back on our photos. There will be a reminder of this prior to the ceremony beginning, as well.

Where will the celebrations take place?

Our ceremony will be held at Saint Patrick's Church in Bay Shore, New York. The reception will follow at Old Field Club in East Setauket, New York.

Are you signed up with a wedding registry service?

Your love and well-wishes are the most important gifts of all. If you would like to contribute in another way, a gift on our website registry or a monetary gift will help us as we plan for our future, including buying a house!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30PM. We ask that you arrive at least fifteen minutes early to have time to park and find your seat in the Church. The doors will close once the procession begins and will not reopen until the conclusion of the ceremony. We love you all dearly, but do not want to run into you while walking down the aisle!

Will the reception be outdoors?

Old Field Club is on the water and has both indoor and outdoor space for guests. We are crossing our fingers for wonderful September weather so that we can make the most of the views off the outdoor deck!

Is there parking at the ceremony and reception?

Both the Church and Old Field Club have ample parking for guests.

When is the RSVP deadline?

All RSVPs must be in by August 1. After this date, we need to let our reception venue know the final guest headcount. If you are worried about missing the deadline, you can put a reminder in your phone for some extra security!

Why is there a gap between the ceremony and reception?

We will use the time following the ceremony to take family photos at the Church. We will also take some photos at Old Field Club before our guests arrive for cocktail hour. We hope to have our formal photos completed by this time so that we can enjoy cocktail hour with our guests! You can use this time to catch up with other guests or run home to relax, freshen up, swap out for some more comfortable (dancing) shoes, and let the pup out before joining us at Old Field Club for dinner and dancing! Please note that the reception venue is about 40 minutes from the Church.

What hotel should I book, if I need one?

There are several hotels on the North Shore by Old Field Club. These options are linked on the Travel tab of our webpage. If you would like to stay closer to the Church, there are also some options for hotels on the South Shore linked on the same page.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! We are looking to party the night away with our most favorite people. With this in mind, we ask you to plan your driving ahead of time. You can also refer to our Travel page to see some local hotels.
