Aceline is one of Antonella's best friends. She is an amazing woman, mother, and confidant. Aceline was one of Nella's first friends she made since moving to the DMV back in 2017, and their friendship has only grown stronger since. Additionally, Aceline has been a champion for Journey to Kabay since its inception!

Barbara is an Auntie turned BESTIE! She and the Schreiber 5 have been a safe haven for AJ since she moved to the DMV in 2017. Barbara is an incredible woman, friend, and confidant, always there through it all. From cooking family meals to now celebrating alongside Nella and Matthew as they join in matrimony, Barbara and her two beautiful girls have been our biggest fans every step of the way!

Barbara Ceptus Schreiber

From college roommate in ‘14, Dom and Matthew have shared experiences that can be shared AND that will never be spoken about with others for the rest of their lives. A true friend and immediate ‘brother’ for both Matthew and, now, Antonella for the rest of their lives

Dominic Zappa

The epitome of Corner and Kabay’s friendship and brotherhood can be explained in one short story by this best man’s mother when, throughout elementary school, she would get phone calls at her house with a little kid on the other line saying ‘This is Matt K. Is it ok if Matt C. can come over and play?’. 20+ years later and not much has changed.

Matthew Corner

Amit and Matthew met during his tenure at Towson University and worked hand-in-hand with the men’s basketball team for 3 years. Their friendship grew naturally as they shared hotel rooms on road trips. Amit was one of Matthew’s only friends to consistently see his and Nella’s relationship grow from DM’s to the alter. Amit is a former D1 track athlete and would keep up with Nella on runs and leave Matthew in the dust.

Antonella met Anira during undergrad at Boston University, and it was an instant kinship! Anira’s friendship and love have never wavered over the years. From tears over  crazy professors to offering words of wisdom and laughter throughout this wedding planning journey, Anira has been an incredible source of support. Antonella is truly blessed to have Anira in her life!

Anira Figueira

This flower girl has stolen Nella's heart since she was born. Vivacious. Lover of Life, Laughter and Joy.  She brightens every room she enters and reminds us all to celebrate the little moments. We look forward to having her set the tone for the wedding! 

Claribel Schreiber 

Greg is another life long friend Matthew met in college and can share both great and terrible stories about the groom. Greg is arguably the best athlete out of the bunch and is good at the most random video games. He is always reliable and both he and his wife, Samantha, will be a forever friendship, the married couple can depend on. 

Greg Maxwell

Hayden is another friend Matthew met through his professional journey in college athletics, at Arkansas State University. Another past roommate, Hayden was a part of the OG Slaps crew with Matthew and the other small band of support staff members at AState. Hayden now works as an assistant basketball coach at Northwestern State. 

Hayden Harkins

James is another part of the OG Slaps crew that Matthew met at Arkansas State. James and his wife were a huge part of the ‘glue’ that kept Matthew sane in Jonesboro and James has been a huge part of the future Kabay’s since they started dating. James and Matthew shared in an answered prayer of being able to work together at UCF and will be just down the road in Tampa as he and his wife, Holly, and 2 kids continue to be a large part of the Kabay community

James Diaz

James is the epitome of what a friend should be. He is generous with his time, energy, love and grace. James has been a major supporter of Matthew and Antonella's love. It is only fitting to have him stand by their side on their wedding day!

James Peebles III

Laurie is one of Antonella's childhood friends; her friendship means the world to Antonella. She is also a lover of JOY and Laughter! Laurie's energy and light is contagious. You can't help but smile broadly in her presence. 

Laurence "Laurie" Tillus

Laurentiis (LG) Gaines Jr. was an extremely important answered prayer to the bride and groom as HE was the friend who hosted the Friendsgiving that Antonella invited Matthew to. (Yes please ask him about it because the Groom is very proud of how he conducted himself and won over hearts that evening). LG has been a great friend to both bride and groom, and he and his wife (Alexis) are a part of the bride and groom’s small Couples Core that travels together, celebrates each other, and lifts each other up, like a community should.

Laurentiis Gaines Jr. 

Meagan aka “MMK” is Nella’s kindred spirit 💕. A friendship borne from work has transcended the walls of a building. From post event chats to FTs and lunches, MMK is a wealth of knowledge, spunk and laughter. MMK is truly one of Nella’s favorite people! 

Meagan McKechnie

Melissa is another of Antonella’s childhood friends and sister to Laurie. Summers with them were the highlight of Antonella’s middle and high school years. A friendly roaster, Melissa’s joy and affable personality make her an absolute pleasure to be around. Antonella is truly grateful to have Melissa standing by her side on her wedding day.

Melissa Tillus

Tim and Matthew met during Matthew’s grad year at East Stroudsburg University. Tim reside in Jersey City and he and Matt have stayed in touch and been lifelong friends with Matt and Nella since they both have known him. Tim has been one of the future Kabay’s biggest supporters and fans since their est. in November ‘21.

Timothy Ngoge

Wyatt is the grooms nephew and Patrick’s son. Yes, he is cute and funny and has the best tiny person personality, but he will not be part of any arranged marriages and we are doing our best to keep the girls off of him at preschool already.

Wyatt Kabay

Zora is one of the most genuine and beautiful souls to have walked this earth. Her empathy and joy is unmatched. Antonella or "AJ" aspires to live her life with the same grace and spirit like Zora, and as the Usher, we're sure you will fall in love with her as well.
