Antonio and I became friends while I (Sydney) was living in Colorado, working for USA Wrestling, introduced by a mutual friend. It was the easiest friendship I’ve ever made. We could talk for hours about anything and everything. Antonio quickly became the first person I wanted to share both the good and bad news with. If it weren’t for unlimited talk and text, our phone bills would’ve been outrageous!

Even with the distance between us while I was in Colorado, then back in Iowa, and eventually home in New York, we stayed close. Once I settled back home, I began visiting Antonio in Philadelphia while he was still competing in college — and I never really left. I landed a great job, got my own apartment, and we just started building our life together.

Over time, we’ve learned so much about each other, how to overcome challenges by leaning on our faith, and everything in between. Antonio is my best friend, and I can’t wait to spend forever with him. Now, with a puppy in the mix, we’re shaping our future in South Jersey, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Thinking about the future fills us with happiness – imagining a forever filled with laughter, growth, celebrations, and the shared work of building our life together. No matter what comes our way, we know we can face it together trusting God to carry us through.
