Anu and Larry&nbsp;have a mutual friend who was wise enough&nbsp;NOT to try and set them&nbsp;up.&nbsp; The first time they&nbsp;met they&nbsp;actually didn't meet at all.&nbsp; They&nbsp;were at another&nbsp;mutual friends place celebrating July 4 with food and games. (Anu was very competitive while playing games and that caught Larry's attention.&nbsp; He thought to himself, "What is up with this girl playing like there are sponsors out here?")&nbsp;At this&nbsp;time, they&nbsp;were both in relationships that thankfully ended shortly after their first encounter.&nbsp; Once their&nbsp;relationships ended they&nbsp;were both quite done with this game they call "Dating".&nbsp; Their&nbsp;paths would cross again at yet another mutual friends gathering but this time&nbsp;only a brief conversation resulted.&nbsp;&nbsp;Anu invited Larry to her 30th birthday party after their brief conversation but Larry unfortunately never showed up.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Fast forward a few weeks later,&nbsp;Larry started conversing with their mutual friend&nbsp;about Anu.&nbsp; This&nbsp;mutual friend gave Larry a 5 star review (yelp, google, etc...) and together they formed a plan on how they could meet.&nbsp; Of course, Larry being&nbsp;a Rockets fan organized a group outing to an early season game.&nbsp; They engineered it so that Anu would sit next to Larry at the game and she even rode in his car with the mutual friend.&nbsp; It was Anu's first NBA game and she had a great time.&nbsp; The Rockets beat the Grizzlies that night so obviously Larry had a great time too.&nbsp;&nbsp;The PROPOSAL Larry&nbsp;decided to recreate their very first date without Anu's knowledge.&nbsp; He told her that they were going downtown to take pictures so she needs to dress up.&nbsp; They went out to eat at The Suya Hut.&nbsp; (They actually hadn't been back their since their first date). They left for the park with Anu still expecting to go downtown.&nbsp; Anu started to enjoy the view of the park and turned around to see Larry&nbsp;on a knee with a gorgeous ring asking for her hand.Soon after the game Larry and Anu began talking to each other on the phone and here they&nbsp;are getting married on October 24, 2019.
