Kevon and Anya both attended Syracuse University. Even though they were both in athletics, they never passed each other in the facilities or school. They first started talking online!

Kevon and Anya’s love story started online, not your average online dating but through Call of Duty. Yes, a video game! Through the virtual battleground of Call of Duty, Anya, known as “Msgangster101” and Kevon, who went by “KCKD45”, found themselves playing together often with a mutual friend, who brought them together. Little did they know through the chaos of gunfire, explosions and rage quitting, a spark was about to ignite between them.

As days turned into weeks and weeks into months, Kevon and Anya realized that their bond was something special. They exchanged information outside of the game and decided to eventually meet in person. They had their first date at a local ice cream shop, Gannon’s, in Syracuse, New York. From that moment on, Kevon and Anya became inseparable. They continued to bond over their shared love for gaming while embarking on real-life adventures hand in hand.

Throughout their relationship there has been so many happy moments that were shared together. In 2022, Kevon received an athletic scholarship, Anya graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor's degree, and the couple got engaged at the end of December.

In 2023, Kevon graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor's degree. As a couple, they moved from Syracuse, New York to Tucson, Arizona. In 2024, Kevon graduated with a master's in information systems from Syracuse University. He is now starting another master's at the University of Arizona in Business Analytics and will be playing on the football team. The couple will also celebrate their marriage this year with friends and family.
