Once upon a time, two best friends were having a visit. The best friends were catching up on life events and both shared that their siblings were now single and hating the ridiculousness of dating apps and single life. Light bulb! "Let's set them up" they proclaimed!

After some push and shove (you can guess who needed to be pushed), the two started talking over text and eventually phone calls and FaceTime.

Because April was constantly flying down to California to visit her family, she was able to meet Alex in person not long after they met via phone. Alex picked her up from the airport and from that point on, they were glued together.

After several back and forth visits of April flying down and Alex driving 16 hours up to Oregon, Alex made the decision to become an Oregonian.

With both of them working remotely from home, alongside two dogs, in an adorable little home, they decided to buy their first home together.

Then one day, on a hike in the beautiful Columbia Gorge, Alex pulled out a ring and sealed the deal.
