Where else can we travel to?
After or before exploring Lisbon, heading north to Porto and the Douro Valley is a fantastic idea!
Porto is Portugal’s second-largest city and a vibrant cultural hub. It’s famous for its rich history, stunning architecture, and, of course, Port wine.
The Douro Valley is one of the oldest wine regions in the world and is renowned for its terraced vineyards and scenic river views
Travel Tip:
You can take a train from Lisbon to Porto (about 2.5-3 hours). After exploring Porto, the Douro Valley is about 1.5-2 hours away by car or train from Porto, so it’s easy to make a day trip and book a wine tour through Airbnb/TripAdvisor or even stay overnight in the valley to fully soak in the experience.
Where do I purchase Train/bus tickets?
