Your one stop shop for dining, shopping, and entertainment. In addition to big restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory/Kabuki/YardHouse, the Collection also has the Annex Food Hall to explore. You can also go bowling at Bowlero or axe throwing at The Mighty Axe.
Soak up the California sun and enjoy some time at the beach. This stretch of beach features free public barbecue areas, volleyball courts, skating, biking (you can rent a bike), and jogging paths. Note that one of our recommended hotels, Zachari Dunes, is right on the beach.
Take a day trip (or two, maybe more??) to Santa Barbara. Amazing food and wine scene! Roughly 40 minute drive from Camarillo to Santa Barbara. Another transportation option is the Amtrak train.
Transport yourself to Solvang or the "The Danish Capital of America", where you can experience a slice of Danish culture and enjoy authentic food, wine, shopping, and entertainment. This is another great day trip option as the drive is around 1 hour and 20 min. from Camarillo/Oxnard.
Take a day trip to explore Channel Islands National Park. You can kayak and explore the various sea caves, hike, etc. The journey from Channel Islands and Ventura Harbors takes approximately 1 hour via boat ride.
The BEST pizza spot out in the 805! Our favorites are Hot Honey & Hawaiian Heat. Make sure to also order a pizza cookie while you're at it!
Cute spot for a boozy brunch or dinner with drinks. I guess any meal with drinks? We recommend the outdoor dining area!
One of our favorite places to grab breakfast. The fresh beignets are SO GOOD! This place typically has a long line during the weekend so try to go early (especially if you have a big group).
Daniel's go-to for some mexican food. The location on South Victoria is also right on the harbor if you want to enjoy some nice scenery as you walk off your burrito after.
