I met Allen on an online dating app called Meet me. After months of feeling like I would never find anyone Allen found me. He sent me a friend request and I took a chance and messaged him. We exchanged numbers and two weeks later he called me and invited me to go to the edisto gardens with him. I said yes!!! The moment I met him all my nervous fears of where is this going to go melted away. It was like I had met my best friend. My nerves calmed and I found myself actually falling for him the first date. It was simple because in Orangeburg there's not much to do. We went and walked around the gardens then went and walked around Wal-Mart the mall. Now most people would think God this guy is cheap but not me I loved every minute of it. When he took me home we sat in his car and talked for hours and when it was time for him to leave I didn't want him to go, days later we were dating. We were inseparable, and four years later he still gives me the same butterflies he did that first night. He makes me laugh keeps me going when I'm at my breaking point. He encourages me to better myself in everything I do. His eyes make me melt...and he is the most hilarious person I have ever met. I can honestly say I can't wait to marry my best friend. Allen proposed to me the only way he knew how he bought me a ring and asked. It was no big show it was simply Allen asking me to spend the rest of my life with him and of course I said yes.
