April was in a season of quietness...Alexa off to CBU, Aiden had a new job and she was no longer coaching HS sports. She prayed that God would guide her through the path of life after her kids were all grown up. She was rooted in Isaiah 43:2, which reads, "When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned." She trusted God was bringing her through everything that led to this moment.!

Although Chris and April had mutual friends, God's timing lined up with an Instagram story that Chris posted playing guitar and singing. April very intentionally slid into his DM and said "what? You sing?" and that began a conversation that led us toa friendship and getting to know one another. Ultimately, it brought a trusted connection that he showed her early on that Chris was the one she had been waiting for. God had a much better plan than either of them could have planned.

We are just thankful to share this day with so many of our family and friends! Thanks for celebrating this day with us!
