Hello Everyone,Thank you for visiting our page. On January 17, 2023 Travis proposed and I said "Yes". There was no hurry to start planning right away. We wanted to enjoy the moment for a little bit. After one year of engagement we had a discussion of what we each wanted for our special day to look like.This brings us to today... We have chosen the date, location, venue, entertainment and food. What dates should I book my trip?

You should only book your trip after you have a valid passport. That is why we are sending "save the date" information now. When / How should I book my trip?

You may stay whereever you want to. Make this a vacation to remember! I will give recommendations but do not feel obligated to stay at these locations. It would be helpful for events and transportation for the wedding. I recommend any of the hotels / resorts in Marina Vallarta. Our home is at Tres Mares. You will be 10 minutes from the airport. Hotels : We have a room block at the Marriott. Westin is a great option too! (Westin / not the Regina / Raintree Club). If you want to rent a condo, you may look on airbnb and vrbo sites, use at your own risk. Condos- Tres Mares, Shangri - La are highly recommended. Portofino and anything further are good but closer to the airport. If you book there, ask the owner if the unit has been sound proofed. I personally do not know how loud they can be, and a lot of people love them. If you are a light sleeper, it may not be your first choice to stay. We also prefer this location due to transportation to the wedding venue. A bus will stop at a couple locations along the way for pick up. If you choose not to stay in the Marina area, please work with your hosts to set up a taxi/uber/indrive/private transport to the wedding venue.

Where should I stay?

No. At this time, we do not have plans to have a ceremony or reception in Omaha, NE. That is why we would love to see you in Mexico.

No, we do not have a registry and we will not be having a registry. We do not need/want any gifts. The best gift we can receive from you is by showing your support and coming to the wedding. Because it is a desination wedding, it can be difficult to transport gifts to and from home (USA). If you still feel you need to give something - only a card please. Uber and InDriver apps are available and certainly more affordable than taxis; however, there are certain places where they won't be welcome such as the airport and some hotels. The other downside is that there are areas and times when it can be hard to find a ride, so make sure you don't opt for this option when you are in a rush. In terms of cost and convenience, riding a bus is perhaps the best way to get around Puerto Vallarta. There are plenty of stops both in the city and in many neighboring hotspots, and the fares are a fraction of taxi fares. The bus is by far the most affordable means of getting from Puerto Vallarta Licenciado Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR) to the hotel zones. Food Lovers Beware!There are sooo many great restaurants to eat at in Puerto Vallarta. I do not recommend choosing the "all inclusive" option at your hotel because there are so many great places to try. It is a very hard decision. Many restaurateurs pay commissions to taxi drivers and you may end up paying more than you should, in a second-rate establishment!
