Our Wedding

Nick and April first met the modern way: by swiping right on Bumble in April of 2019. Their first date was meeting at Yorktown Beach to walk and talk to get to know each other, but because of April being shy, Nick did most of the talking. They shared a hug goodbye as it started to rain, not knowing what the future held. They began texting non stop and wanting to always be around each other, they became inseparable. They took the next step of their relationship when they moved in together in June of 2020. Nick and April started to build their life together. They would go out in search of new restaurants, go to baseball and softball games, have game nights with family/friends, and make delicious meals together at home. Their traveling journey began in 2023 with a Cruise to the Bahamas, St. Martin, and St. Thomas. Nick was able to fulfill Aprils dream and do a snorkeling excursion, where they were able to see and swim along side two sea turtles! They have had adventures in Florida, Georgia, DC, Texas, and the Shenandoah Valley. January 13, 2024 started the next chapter in their lives. Nick took April out for a date in City Center, to the Steak & Tonic restaurant. For what seemed like the coldest day of the year, so far, Nick was determined to take a walk around the fountain. As we are walking, we stop, and hug and Nick proceeded to get down on one knee, and ask April to marry to him! ( he even had Aprils best friend there hiding to take pictures!) And thus the wedding planning began! Nick and April are excited to share this next chapter of their lives, becoming husband and wife, with their closest friends and family! They thank you from the bottom of their hearts for all the love and support!
