Where and at what time should I arrive?

The District Venue in Ankeny, IA. The Ceremony starts at 4:00 pm. We ask everyone to be at the venue by 3:30 pm.

How long will the event last?

The Ceremony will start at 4:00 and run until about 4:30. The Reception will immediately follow and go until midnight.

What should I wear?

Spring formal wear. No shorts, hats, or jeans please.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Only if indicated on formal invitation.

Will alcohol be served?

Beer, Wine and seltzers will be free. Liquor and Cocktails can be purchased

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both will be indoors and in the same building.

Are there hotel blocks reserved?

Yes! The Residence Inn Des Moines Ankeny, call (515) 446-7300 and say you would like to book a room for the Eide-Davenport wedding. It is first come first serve with a rate of $169. To block off a room it needs to be booked by April 1st, 2026 to get this rate.

Is there parking available?

Yes! First come first serve, anywhere in the area

Can I send a gift to your home instead of bringing it?

When is the RSVP deadline?

We kindly ask that all guests RSVP by April 2nd. Due to venue and catering requirements, we won’t be able to accommodate guests who have not responded by then.

I already RSVP’d but my plans changed—what do I do?

Can I take pictures during the ceremony

Please refrain from phone usage during the ceremony as we will have both a videographer and photographer to handle all moment capturing.

Are we allowed to bring our kids?

To keep our celebration intimate, we are respectfully requesting an adults-only wedding, aside from immediate family. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together.
