Our Wedding

They say love finds you when you least expect it — and that couldn’t be more true for us. We both walked into the gym simply focused on ourselves, never imagining that a simple workout would change our lives forever. One ordinary day, we ended up on machines right next to each other. Christina glanced over, noticed how much weight Aral was leg pressing, and couldn’t resist teasing him with a playful comment. He smiled and replied with a short and casual, “Oh yeah, haha,” before heading back to his workout — leaving her convinced that was the end of their brief encounter. But the universe had other plans. Soon after, Aral began coming up to her at the gym to talk, each conversation lasting a little longer than the last. Eventually, he asked if they could work out together — and from that moment, something just clicked. What started as gym sessions turned into friendship, laughter, and deep conversations that made it feel like they had known each other their whole lives. They discovered how alike they were — in their humor, passions, values and hearts — and realized that they had each found the person they didn’t even know they were searching for. Now, the gym is where their love story began — a place that once symbolized self-focus but became the setting where two souls found home in each other. From swolemates to soulmates, they continue to lift each other up every day — in and out of the gym —and now, they're best friends and partners for life.

-Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns regarding flight bookings. Ercan International Airport (ECN) is the closest airport. However, Larnaka International Airport (LCA) also works. *Just make sure that you fly in and out of the same airport as they are technically different countries and we don't want any immigration issues!* -Northern Cyprus is Turkish, while southern Cyprus is Greek. There is a militarized border separating the two sides of the island, so they consider traveling to one side as leaving the country. So again, please-- if you have any doubts, questions or concerns, we'd be happy to help!

Wifi/Cell phone service

Most cell phone carriers have an international pass that grants you cell service in Cyprus. You just have to enroll and select the countries that you will be traveling to (for an extra fee). The resort/hotels will also have free wifi access, if you'd like to just disconnect on your vacay. I highly recommend selecting the country/countries your flight layovers will be in, in addition to Cyprus, for a more seamless and stress-free travel experience.

Important Travel Info

The wedding is in Girne, also known as Kyrenia. On Apple and Google maps, these names most likely aren't shown because they're Turkish. Instead, Apple and Google maps shows the Greek names such as Agios Georgios Keryneias.

This boutique hotel is absolutely beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. This is where a majority of our guests will be staying. This hotel is about 15 minutes from the wedding venue.
