Q: Where can I stay?
A: We have secured a discounted rate of $199 at the Westin Chicago Michigan Ave hotel, which is walking distance to both the ceremony and wedding reception locations.

Q: What time should I arrive?
A: The ceremony starts at 5pm, we recommend finding your seat for the ceremony at 4:45pm so you don't miss the start of our I Do's.
If you are driving in from the Chicagoland Area (Batavia, Elgin, Orland Park, Bensenville, Algonquin, Bloomingdale or Lake Zurich) it will take you no less than 1 hour with traffic to get downtown. We recommend leaving no later than 3pm to drive, park and find your seats to be at the ceremony on time.
If you are staying downtown (our hotel or another) feel free to make your way over to the ceremony site no later than 4:30pm.
Q: Is there parking available?
A: There are plenty of parking garages available in the area if you choose not to park at the hotel or use Valet at the Restaurant. We recommend you park at either the Drake or Westin hotels, or use SpotHero to find a parking spot of your choice.
The ceremony and wedding reception are blocks from each other, so you don't have to find two parking spots, find one that is near either and it will be good for both locations.

Q: I have special dietary needs. Who should I tell?
A: Please text the bride or groom if the menus listed on the wedding website aren't clear enough to see if you need special accommodations.
Q: Are Children Invited?
A: Yes, when you RSVP please indicate who you are bringing to each event so we can ensure we can accommodate everyone.
Q: Can I bring a plus one?
A: The size of the venue can only accommodate a particular number of guests. Your invitation will indicate if you are able to bring a plus one.

Q: What will the weather be like?
A: Chicago can have all four seasons in one day (anytime of the year). Typically, this weekend indicates the start of summer. We recommend packing your typical casual wear for your downtime which will include a windbreaker type of jacket or sweater, a swimsuit to enjoy the pool at the hotel, and formal wear for the actual wedding day.
P.S. The ceremony will be outside (rain or shine), we will be providing umbrellas as you exit the hotel (Westin) if it rains. If you are not staying at the Westin and need an umbrella, we will have some at the ceremony site as well.
Q: Where is your gift registry? Are you accepting gifts?
A: We are not having a gift registry, as we have everything we need. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift.
However, if you'd like to give us a gift, we'd be grateful for anything you want to contribute to our honeymoon!
