Crystal and I first met each other in 2003 through our then mutual boyfriends who were best friends. But even when those relationships ended, she and I became even closer. She is also a Sagittarius, so we both just understood each other in a way, no one has understood me. Malleta and I met in school in 2002. Going to a predominantly all white school at the time, I was happy to see someone who looked like me. Even more so, I begged the Housing Director to change my student housing so that I could be her new roommate. I wanted to be her friend. Malleta and I became really good friends. She was from St Louis, and I had family in St. Louis so that was one thing that connected us. I would sometimes catch rides with her home back to St. Louis. We didn't need to talk everyday. But when we did, it was like we never stopped.

Kodi is my bonus daughter. She is a quiet, gentle soul with a big heart. She has a love for video games, writing, and talking on the phone with her friends. She is her Dad's and mine only daughter.

DJ is my bonus son. He is so intelligent, athletic, and creative. He plays sports and musical instruments.
