AIRPORT: Tulum International Airport (TQO) (also known as Aeropuerto Internacional de Tulum Felipe Carrillo Puerto)

FLIGHTS: Given the timing of our wedding events, we recommend arriving on Saturday, November 15th and departing on Tuesday, November 18th. Flights are now available for those dates, with non-stop options from both JFK and Newark airports.

TRANSPORTATION: We will be arranging for transportation from Tulum International Airport (TQO) to the hotel area on Saturday, November 15th around 3pm for flights arriving around that time (this will align with the flights arriving that afternoon from JFK and Newark airports). We will also be arranging transportation back to the airport on Tuesday, November 18th for flights leaving around 9am.

We have secured a room block at Alaya Tulum, which is a 3-minute walk from Mahayana Tulum (where certain wedding events will take place, and the bride and groom will be staying with their families). When booked using our code, rooms are available starting at $232 per night. There are a limited number of rooms at this price.

Looking for something more affordable? We recommend booking at Casa Ganesh (only a 6-minute walk from Mahayana) or exploring options on Airbnb. We recommend looking for options within close walking distance from Mahayana Tulum.

Looking for something more luxurious? There is a beautiful, new hotel right next to Mahayana called Umi we recommend looking into. There are also slightly more expensive room options available at Alaya Tulum with better views of the ocean.

Travelling with kids? The hotel where we have secured our room block, Alaya, has a well-priced option for a "Family Villa", which includes 1 full bed and 1 bunk bed.

As a general note, we recommend booking your accommodations within close walking distance from Mahayana Tulum, as that is where transportation will arrive and depart from, and certain wedding events will take place. We note that taxis in the area are known to be overpriced and renting a car can be tricky as cellphone service may drop out in certain areas and you can be subject to unnecessary traffic stops.

Many of the hotels near Mahayana (including Alaya) are currently offering discounted rates given how far in advance we are from the wedding dates. We recommend booking accommodations early on to secure the best rates.
