What is a Walima?
A Walima is an Islamic wedding feast after the marriage Nikkah ceremony. It is a celebratory event that marks the conclusion of the marriage and serves as a way for the couple to share their joy with family and friends.
What is a Nikkah Ceremony?
The Nikkah ceremony is a marriage contract between a man and a woman, conducted according to Islamic law. It involves the couple's mutual consent, the presence of witnesses, and the groom's offering of a dowry (Mahr) to the bride. The Nikkah formalizes the marriage and is often followed by prayers and a celebration with family and friends.

Is there parking available on site?
Yes, parking is available at the venue.
What time will the wedding begin and end?
We kindly request that guests arrive by 6:00 p.m. and take their seats. Please note that the doors will close at 6:55 p.m. The program/entrances are set to begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. We ask that you adhere to this start time. The event will conclude at 12:00 a.m.
Will there be a seating chart?
Yes, there will be a seating chart at the wedding! You'll be able to find your assigned table when you arrive. This will help ensure everyone has a comfortable place to sit.
Can I bring additional guests?
We kindly ask that guests do not bring any additional attendees who were not included in their RSVP. Seating is limited, and we want to ensure all guests are comfortably accommodated. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Are children welcome to attend?
We kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. We hope you can enjoy a special night out with us.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
There is no specific dress code, but we would love to see you in formal wear or whatever makes you feel your best!
What kind of food will be served at the wedding?
We will be serving Pakistani (South Asian cuisine), with a touch of Hakka Chinese food.
What if I have dietary concerns?
We will be having a wide variety of food to choose from. Vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian options will be available throughout appetizers, dinner, and dessert.

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?
No alcohol will be available on site as this is an Islamic wedding. However, we invite you to enjoy our Mocktail Station, offering a variety of refreshing non-alcoholic drinks such as pina coladas, mojitos, and more.
Is there a gift registry or preferred gifts?
We do not have a specific list of desired gifts. Your presence at our wedding is gift enough! If you would like to celebrate with us further, we would greatly appreciate cards or monetary gifts.
Will there be space for Maghrib and Isha prayers?
Yes! Maghrib Prayer will begin at 7:45 p.m and Isha's Prayer will begin at 9:15 p.m. If you plan to pray we suggest you make wudu/ablution before arriving at the venue or the venue.
