Michael proposed to me on Saturday, February 18th 2023.

It was a typical Saturday in late winter. Naturally, he woke up at the butt crack of dawn, cleaned and waited for me to wake up. We had planned to run some errands to various craft stores & treat ourselves to Culver's. Not unexpectedly, I HAD to show Michael an hour long youtube video before we left! So he obliged (teeth-gritted), all while knowing that we were most certainly way off schedule and that Courtney, a close friend of ours, was waiting in the wings for the green light to stage the apartment with everything Michael had planned.

After errands, we headed home, belly's full & excited to settle in for the night with Stevie and Ziggy. To my complete surprise and exhilaration, Michael proposed to me in our living room surrounded by flowers and some of my favorite things (Legos, Reeses, kitties..).
