Picture this: it's summertime in 2016. We met at Chad Davis' (our pastor) home when we were both attending his small group/Bible study. At the time, we were both dating other people, so we didn't really talk or get to know one another until the next year. However, Joseph "had me in the back of his mind" (his words). 😉 It wasn't until years later - summer of 2018 to be exact - that we started "talking".

Joseph had been talking to his (now best man) Raphael Peters about pursuing me (Aria). Through countless conversations, Raph finally convinced Joseph to make a move.

Joseph slid into my (Aria) Instagram DM's, replying to a photo of scripture wall art I'd posted to my Instagram story.

(Joseph will tell you we met when the Lord finally saved my heathen soul and he played a large part in that, but I was already saved- lol!)("I still stand by that statement" -Joseph)

From there, we kept messaging back and forth, and he asked me to coffee at T-bones (even though our first date ended up being at Newk's, then Marble Slab). The rest is history! Since that day about two and a half years ago, we have talked every day and fallen more and more in love. We look forward to what the next chapter of our lives will hold as Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Grant 🥰
