Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD)

O'Hare will be your best bet. It is closest to the city (30 minute drive to downtown) and to Arlington Heights (23-30 minute drive). You can rent cars at the aiport, or catch a shuttle to access public transportation.

- Travel between the city center and the suburbs: Metra (download the Ventra app for purchasing tickets)

- Travel around the suburbs: A rental car would be your best bet

-Travel within the city: Uber and CTA lines

- Driving to the city: Download the Park Chicago app to pay your parking meter from your phone. Down load Spot Hero to make finding parking spots/garages easier.

You can take the highways, or take Sheridan Rd all the way to Lake Shore Dr. You can also take Milwaukee Ave straight down to the city.

Sheridan Rd --> Lake Shore Dr. is most scenic. You will drive along the lake, pass through Northwestern's campus, and see some beautiful old money homes.
