Case and I met in Boone, NC while both attending Appalachian State University. Case and I saw each other in passing out and about in Boone and in the gym. Every time I saw Case at the gym he was always working hard. One day at the gym Case randomly asked me if she had seen squid games (new Netflix show). I didn't notice him because I was focused on the leg press! I eventually saw him and asked him what he needed. I told him I don't have time for TV.


A few days later I was eating wings (imagine that) at my house and decided to turn on squid games to see what the hype was. It was terrible and I wanted to let him know. I didn't even know Case's name at the time so I scrolled on social media trying to find people that went to the gym that might have him as a friend. I finally found him and messaged him. Eventually, he said I could text him and he sent his number. I texted him and never heard back... a few days later I got a message saying he gave me the wrong number. I decided to let it slide.. we messaged the entire night and the rest was history.
