Our Wedding

We met on the dating app Bumble in the summer of 2020. Due to covid, Ari had an extended summer break from chiropractic school which led her to spend the summer back home in Ohio. During this time we both matched with each other; Ari sent Carl a "hey what's up?" message and the rest was history. After talking for a short while, we went out on our first date and really hit it off. This led to countless more dates and conversations before Ari had to head back to New York for school. We started off our relationship long-distance as Ari was living in Buffalo finishing off her last year of chiropractic school. During this time, Carl came up almost every weekend to visit making us inseparable. Little did we know that this was the beginning to our forever. Come February 2021 Ari got an internship at a hospital back home meaning she was moving back! This prompted Carl to ask her to move in. Later that fall we bought our first home and along the way we gained two furry children - Thor the black cat and Pepper Jack the golden retriever. Fast forward to January 2023, right before Carl's 31st birthday, he asked Ari to marry him and of course she said yes!
